Pat Ryan has been a member of the Asheville Radio Group since it’s inception in February of 2002.  He is currently pulling an on-air “daily double”, hosting the WOXL Midday show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Co-hosting the “WISE Guys”, a local sports talk program from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on ESPN Radio 1310 and 970 Big Wise.  “I wouldn’t have it any other way” 

A founding member of the 96.5 House Band, Pat is very proud of the band’s accomplishments.  “I’m not sure there’s an Asheville band that can say they’ve played the Asheville Civic Center, Thomas Wolfe Auditorium and the Orange Peel multiple times..and SURVIVED!!” 

Pat also played with current 96.5 guitarist Frank Verhaeghe in Sister Moon, an Asheville-based band that received critical praise and two invitations to perform at Bele Chere (1997 and 2000).
